Hanging Cheek Snaffle
Specially developed to provide a comfortable, anatomic fit in pony mouths, the Trust Sweet Iron Hanging Cheek Snaffle has an ergonomic single joint.

The mouthpiece is 12mm diameter, while the rings are also smaller than standard to suit pony-sized faces.

Sweet Iron
The sweet iron is designed to rust when it comes into contact with humidity; this surface rust tastes sweet and naturally stimulates the horse's saliva production, encouraging soft acceptance of the bit.

This oxidisation process changes the blue colour of the Trust bit to a brownish-grey.

If a sweet iron bit is not used for a while, an orange-brown rust layer may develop on the mouthpiece. Simply remove this by wiping the bit with a damp cloth.
